CARA JOY
Cara Joy is an author saved by the grace of God. She writes sweet Christian romance with Black and multiracial characters. Cara is a pastor’s wife and mom. The COVID-19 pandemic pushed her to begin to finally pursue her dream of writing books that feature God’s power to heal the broken pieces of our lives and make us whole again. One of her favorite scriptures is from Matthew 6:33 which says, “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.” (KJV).
When she is not writing, Cara loves to take long walks with her very own hero of a husband, and her son.

This was a sweet story…I liked how it showed that the past affects our thoughts and actions now. Overall, the characters were well fleshed out and you could understand where they were coming from.
